Bilingual Account Manager (French)
Regular Full-Time 

Position Overview 

The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing the talent payment process. This role requires an in depth knowledge of tactical and strategic approaches to actively engage with high-profile clients in order to optimize client satisfaction and ensure efficient, timely, and accurate talent payments.  

Core Responsibilities 

  • Builds and maintains client satisfaction, ensuring an optimal client experience  
  • Serves as point-of-contact for client requests, evaluating potential penalties and liabilities, and ensuring compliance with labor and union rules.  
  • Subject-matter-expert for assigned clients, advising on union regulations, talent payment processes, and other inquiries and requests.    
  • Develops a strong understanding of the clients’ contractual terms, examining clauses and provisions in contracts  
  • Communicates and resolves concerns and issues with internal teams and the client to ensure proper processing  
  • Meet all client and union deadlines as established by TTC/management.   
  • Promptly reviews, analyzes and processes wage rates, session contracts, residuals, holding and use fees, and entering into our portal  
  • Work with various internal departments and stakeholders to ensure a streamlined payment process and positive client experience. 
  • Communicate workload levels or escalations to management  
  • Monitor clients for “service creep” or additional needs/challenges 
  • Handle incoming client, employee and inquiry phone calls and e-mails 
  • Demonstrates accuracy, reliability, and discretion with all submitted work and communication 
  • Provides mentorship, guidance, and training with junior team members 
  • Supports team members/departments as needed due to volume and/or availability of personnel  
  • Assist with additional or special tasks or projects as requested  

Key Qualifications 

  • Previous experience managing client or customer relationships, preferably within the entertainment or talent industry  
  • Excellent customer service – experience managing and resolving client or customer issues 
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage workload and responsibilities with minimal supervision  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, and listening skills 
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization and time management skills with the ability to execute against multiple, high-priority projects 
  • Highly analytical with keen attention to detail, ability to analyze and interpret contract terms, provisions, and clauses 
  • Previous experience with entertainment talent payments or contracts (ACTRA, UDA, CFM, etc.) preferred  

Special Work Conditions     

  • Sedentary – Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.
