BI Engineer

As a BI Engineer You Will:

Be instrumental in advancing our BI infrastructure by developing new models in dbt, creating explores and views in LookML, and building insightful dashboards. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and take ownership of the technical design of our BI data models.

This role is perfect for someone who loves working hands-on with data, obsesses about accuracy, is opinionated about the design of data visualizations, and is, above all, passionate about transforming raw data into meaningful insights for the business.

At MANTL, the Data Team delivers trusted data and intelligence that empowers both internal users and our customers—community banks and credit unions. Our vision is to develop an ecosystem of intelligence products that seamlessly integrate data across the entire customer experience layer.

About You:

• You design and develop complex SQL queries and data models in BigQuery and dbt to ensure efficient and accurate data retrieval.
• You design, create, and maintain LookML codebase with explores that provide an intuitive explore UI and generate efficient SQL to support downstream Looker content.
• You collaborate with stakeholders to produce effective Looker dashboards and reports based on the explores you design.
• You partner with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.

We Are Looking For:

• 3+ years in BI, data analytics, or a related role
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with BigQuery
• Expertise in Looker and LookML
• Familiarity with dbt and data modeling concepts
