We’re seeking an experienced and professional BI Data Engineering Manager to join our growing team in Tel Aviv. In this position, you will lead a team of talented BI professionals and data engineers, overseeing the definition, development, and management of our BI datasets. You will architect, implement, and oversee data models, ELTs, and ETLs, enabling our business teams, product, engineering, and senior management to access data effectively. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Lead and mentor a team of BI professionals and data engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. 

• Oversee end-to-end BI development and ownership, from design to production. 

• Develop and manage BI data pipelines to empower data access and self-service. 

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and data consumers to understand data needs and translate business requirements into the technical design of scalable data pipelines. 

• Provide directions on best practices for our architecture, including dimensional modeling and large-scale ETL/ELT. 

• Advise engineering teams in designing the correct database schema. 

• Research core technologies and integrations with external APIs and services. 

What You’ll Bring: 

• 2+ years in a managerial role leading BI/ data engineering teams. 

• 6+ years as a BI Developer/ETL Developer/BI Architect 

• Deep understanding of BI concepts, including ETL, dimensional modeling, data warehouse design, data quality monitoring, and dashboarding. 

• Extensive experience with database query languages, database design, optimizing queries, and query planning. 

• Experience with Python  

• Proficiency in SQL and query optimization. 

• Experience with monitoring solutions to ensure data pipeline reliability and performance. 

• Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies. 

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral. 

• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. 

• A passion for data domains and a strong commitment to quality processes.
