Maintains safe and secure environment for our pastors, people, and property through consistent and thorough patrolling and monitoring of all our campuses.
Hours: 0-20 hours per week
Salary: $17 per hour
Requirements
Top Responsibilities:
· Secures campuses, staff, and visitors by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, access points, and permitting and denying entry.
· Prevents loss and damages by reporting irregular activity, informing violators of policy and procedure through brave communication, verbal judo, and a culture of honor, while inviting them to make powerful choices to cooperate with our expectations and if necessary, escorting them off the premises.
· Completes daily logs & incident reports by recording non-bias observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
· Maintains environment by monitoring equipment, regularly patrolling by foot as well as by the Bethel Security Vehicle to establish a presence on all of the campuses.
· Maintains Bethel Church's level of professionalism and reputation by complying with and obeying not only the legal requirements set forth by federal law, BSIS, the State of California, Shasta County, and the City of Redding, but by complying with and honoring the vision and mission of Bethel Church.
· Ensures productive operation of all job equipment by both having an appropriate understanding of the equipment; an ability to use it correctly and effectively, and a willingness to record and report potential faults / failures of the equipment to the supervisor.
· Contributes to the success of the Security department by functioning well in a small team setting, striving to reach team goals, and displaying a commitment to team camaraderie and unity.
· Possesses an ability to communicate clearly over the radio / phone to rest of the Security team in a professional, concise, and effective manner.
· Possesses the wisdom, experience, and wherewithal to discern if and when to use the appropriate measure of physical force to detain, protect, or end a conflict.
