EquipmentShare is Hiring a Benefits Engagement Specialist.

EquipmentShare is searching for a Benefits Engagement Specialist for our corporate office in Columbia, MO, to support our team as the department continues to grow. This position will assist the Benefits team on a daily basis with customer service requests and
other assigned tasks.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary contact for EquipmentShare employees for all questions regarding benefit
    coverage.
  • Act as liaison between employees and benefits vendors for claims issues and problems, working
    to resolve all issues in a timely manner.
  • Promote various employee benefits programs, such as medical, dental, vision, health savings
    accounts, disability, life insurance, and wellness benefits.
  • Assist with Leave of Absence Process.
  • Help conduct benefits orientations for new employees and assist employees with benefits
    enrollment on the HRIS system.
  • Oversee the administration of COBRA.
  • Assist in the filing of disability and life insurance claims.
  • Assist with reconciliation of monthly invoices to various benefits vendors.
  • Assist with the preparation, planning and presentation of the annual open enrollment process.
  • Aid in the preparation and delivery of compliance notices based on compliance reporting
    requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications ● Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Excellent organizational and time management skills
● Must be comfortable working in Google suite


Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years prior benefit administration experience preferred


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
