Gopuff is seeking to hire a Benefits Administrator to join the Total Rewards Team. This unique individual contributes to the company's performance by administering various employee benefits, including health and life insurance. The Benefits Administrator will report to the Benefits Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Assist employees in the field and headquarters with enrollment in benefits programs, such as health insurance and 401k plans. 
  • Respond to benefits and 401k inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, 401k contribution amounts, status changes and other general inquiries in ServiceNow & Benefits inbox
  • Conduct presentations and meetings to explain benefits to employees (New Hire Presentations and Open Enrollment). 
  • Audit all benefits enrollments in Workday to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information. 
  • Assists with the open enrollment process and communications. 
  • Review, reconcile and submit benefit weekly, monthly and quarterly invoices for payment
  • Create and distribute standardized reports and produce ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Manage ACA tracking with Equifax and 1095-C form creations
  • Process all Medical Support Notices
  • Assist with plan audits, plan compliance, government filings (Forms 5500 and 1095/1094-C, PCORI, etc.) and non-discrimination testing in conjunction with the broker/consultant.
  • Oversee vacation and sick pay policies, ensuring compliance with local ordinance

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field, preferred. 
  • 1-2 years experience in human resources; benefits administration experience preferred 
  • Experience working with benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, life insurance, AD&D, EAP, and 401(k)
  • Payroll experience a plus
  • Intermediate or higher Excel proficiency required 
  • Experience with Workday is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ticketing system
  • Strong written and verbal communication with strong organizational skills. 
  • Customer Service attitude toward internal employees. 
  • Ability to work cross functionally with various departments (payroll / HRIS / Compensation / Legal / overall People Team). 
  • Precise attention to detail. 
  • Adaptability demonstrated through working effectively in a fast-paced environment as plans, conditions or situations change
