The role of the Beauty Field Senior Manager is to provide an engaging, seamless experience that delivers profitable sales, store traffic and an engaging client experience by communicating and reinforcing all Beauty strategies through the Beauty Field Team.
Responsibilities:
- Leads a team of multi-unit leaders across a region that are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives. Understands people's motivations, engages the team in the work, and builds a sense of energy toward common goals. Ensures that direct reports can make decisions and take accountability. Celebrates progress.
- Reviews targeted reports and business processes to identify sales, profit, and productivity opportunities across assigned Region. Pays close attention to a variety of metrics and benchmarks; determines both major and subtle ways to optimize processes. Swiftly resolves process breakdowns; takes steps to ensure that problems do not recur.
- Provides feedback on Salon and JCPenney Beauty business initiatives at a global level to elevate business performance.
- Understands the competitive landscape by observing and studying other companies in the industry to learn the current initiatives/strategies.
- Manages and reports on performance within the department or area of responsibility; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold individuals accountable for achieving them; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives.
- Manage relationships with strategic internal clients and act as a business partner to them, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust, and mobilizing appropriate internal and/or external resources to support in delivering business strategy and plans.
- Understands and articulates all Beauty strategies, initiatives, and direction. Embodies and articulates the vision of the Brand – both JCPenney Beauty and Salon in all communications and interactions.
