We are Aspire Living & Learning, a non-profit human services agency making a meaningful difference in the lives of adults and children with autism and other disabilities.

Aspire Living & Learning is currently seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work within Stamford Public Schools, following our school consultation model. Our BCBA will have a caseload of 16 students. 

Salary range for this position is $75,000 – $95,000

Hours: M-F 7:00-3:00

The BCBA will be responsible for the daily management of their assigned caseload in a special education setting, providing services to children who have social, behavioral, and/or academic needs. As a BCBA, you will work to implement each student’s educational and behavioral programs. You will conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and Functional Analyses to develop function-based intervention plans, analyze data to inform decisions about progress and programming, collaborate with school team members, parents, outside providers, and school districts, as well as train and provide feedback to behavior therapists.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst or similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of appropriate referral procedures.
  • The ability to remain composed and adherent to best practices, even when under duress.
  • Valid driver’s license required, with at least 3 years of driving experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, experience using Therap a plus!
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Education, or a similar field required.
  • Masters’ Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Education, or a related field with ABA coursework preferred.
  • Empathy, enthusiasm, and a passion and dedication for helping others.

  We are also open to:

  • Applicants who have completed or are close to completing ABA course work and restricted hours and require unrestricted supervision hours needed to sit for the BCBA exam.
