The Battery Charging & Swap Station Lead is responsible for overseeing the operations of battery charging and swap stations. This role involves ensuring efficient and safe charging, swapping, and maintenance of batteries, managing station staff, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
What You’ll Do (Job Description):
- Supervise daily operations of battery charging and swap stations.
- Ensure stations are operational during all designated hours.
- Monitor battery inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Oversee the process of charging and swapping batteries to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, safety, and operational updates.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff on safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Ensure all operations comply with local and national safety regulations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Regularly inspect equipment and facilities for safety and functionality.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies during inspections and audits.
- Address inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining efficient and courteous service.
- Implement feedback systems to continuously improve customer experience.
- Oversee the maintenance of charging equipment and facilities.
- Coordinate with technical teams for the repair and troubleshooting of equipment issues.
- Develop a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of battery usage, charging cycles, and inventory.
- Prepare regular reports on station performance, including usage statistics, downtime, and incident reports.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance station efficiency and service quality.
- Identify opportunities for station expansion and increased service offerings.
- Collaborate with other departments to align station operations with overall company goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the energy or automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards related to battery charging and handling.
