Banking Specialist - Corporate Actions Processing (12 months FIXED TERM)

Your key tasks
Monitor, plan and execute the daily activities for corporate actions events, to be delivered in accordance with the Service Level Agreements agreed with our Clients.

• Setting up and monitoring corporate actions including any instruction deadlines.
• Preparation of customer letters for voluntary and mandatory corporate actions.
• Preparing and releasing instructions to Custodians.
• Booking of voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, taking into account withholding tax and foreign withholding tax.
• Managing reconciliation for differences arising from corporate actions (cash and securities).
• Enquiries from/to custodians and Clients.

• First professional experience in the back office of a bank.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn.
• Good team player and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently in a very demanding, fast-paced and complex environment.
• Fluent German and good English skills,

It would be a real bonus if you have 

• Experience in the area of corporate actions.
• Knowledge of the Avaloq Core Banking System.
• Proficiency in other languages.
