We are looking for a new Release Manager to join our banking team! The mission is a service of maintenance and evolution of the engines of diffusion EPE & CVA Working in project mode - Agile environment. You are also have to work on various corrective and evolutionary maintenance tasks like the whole team. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure monitoring and management of application releases and coordination with IT Risks Business Analysts and Management team in Paris.
- Infrastructure and Tools: Designs, implements, and maintains reliable infrastructures and tools for the development and deployment of applications, while configuring and monitoring production environments to ensure availability and performance.
- Collaboration and Methodologies: Promotes a collaborative environment between development and operational teams throughout the application lifecycle, applying agile methodologies and engaging in continuous improvement processes.
- Automation and Maintenance: Develops scripts to automate operational tasks, establishes CI/CD pipelines, and follows troubleshooting procedures to resolve issues, while staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Solid experience in software development, CI/CD, TDD.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming; In-depth understanding of the application runtime environment (process, memory…).
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts.
- Development tools and environment: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Control-M, XL Deploy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience with end-to-end release management processes, including planning, deployment, and post-release evaluation.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial.
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills for presenting release plans, schedules, and status updates to stakeholders.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate deployment and testing processes.
- Experience in change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new releases.
- Ability to assess risk and impact associated with releases.
- Technical knowledge with Java, Angular, Spring, C++, Linux, SQL, Hadoop.
