  • Determining hardware and software solutions.
  • Resolving technological problems.
  • Diagnosis and correction of flaws.
  • Resolving network problems.
  • Installation and configuration of hardware and software.
  • Interviewing clients to swiftly determine the source of their problem.
  • Giving customers fast and accurate feedback.
  • Experience in application support;
  • Experience and ability to undertake technical analysis and identify impacts (functional/technical);
  • Experience working with apps that have several interfaces to other applications;
  • Comprehensive understanding of RDBMS principles;
  • Knowledge of at least one database (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server);
  • At least 2 years of experience dealing with Unix and its standard commands;
  • Basic understanding of DataStage TX and Java (preferred);
  • Basic knowledge of PowerShell Scripts;
  • English;
  • French (plus).
