We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic junior backend software developer who is committed to helping us make the world a better place. You will join our Seller Experience (XP) Team.
Back Market's mission is to spearhead a sustainable consumption revolution, by eliminating any factual reasons for customers to buy new. Our marketplace serves as the transformative hub for this revolution, with our sellers playing the central role by offering a high-quality supply of refurbished products on the platform. The Mission of the Seller XP Team is to improve our sellers’ experience. We want to give our sellers all the tools to increase their stocks and sales of high-quality supply on BackMarket.
The expected profiles are backend engineers with skills in basic coding languages. Priority to candidates with skills in Python, Golang, Typescript, Vue/React, DevOps, familiar with using a Linux system, and the command line.
YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF: ⭐
- You are a master’s degree student studying computer science, priority to backend engineering.
- You have knowledge of basic coding languages (C, C++, Java) and ideally Python.
- You have basic programming experience (github, personal projects, student projects, other internships).
- You have knowledge of databases and operating systems, Linux is a plus.
- You have the ability to learn new software and technologies quickly, being curious about the coding environment you’ll evolve in.
- You are detail-oriented and have the desire and ability to work in a team in an international environment.
- You are fluent in English - French and/or Spanish is a plus.
- You are looking for a 6 month, full-time role (35h/week), internship (March 2025 - September 2025) based in Barcelona, Spain
- Your school can provide an internship agreement & you are authorized to work in Spain (EU Nationality or in possession of valid student visa/work permit).
