We are looking for backend engineers on a variety of teams to join our organization in impactful, hands-on roles. About Our Summer Internships: 

  • The duration is 10 weeks long, starting on June 2, 2025.
  • The rate of pay for this role is $40.00 per hour. 
  • Interns work 35 hours per week.
  • This is a hybrid role based in New York.


Responsibilities: 

  • Have empathy for existing solutions and issues 
  • Be able to work in a collegial environment with peers from diverse backgrounds and skills
  • Be a committed bug hunter 
  • Enjoy commenting your code 

Have interest to learn: 

  • System design and architecture, with an emphasis on building for scale 
  • Docker/Kubernetes 
  • Public cloud platform services: Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). 
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery techniques and tooling 
  • Multi-tier application architecture & concepts of networking, load balancing, monitoring and *nix OS 

Basic Qualifications:

  • You have at least 6 months of educational or professional experience with backend engineering

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Have programming and syntax knowledge in Go, Python, Java, Scala, or other similar backend programming languages 
  • You understand data modeling in both SQL based and NoSQL database systems
  • You understand version control using Git and Github.com

The hourly rate of base pay for this role is:
$40$40 USD
