Back-end Engineer – Reflect
- Continue to build out Reflect’s real-time back-end infrastructure, which powers thousands of live browser sessions daily as part of a market-leading end-to-end test automation platform.

About the role
As a Back-end Engineer you will work closely with a growing team of back-end and front-end engineers to continue building our end-to-end automation platform. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Build and manage our live recorder and automated test runner, for both web and mobile tests
- Design and develop new REST APIs for communicating with test runners and other infrastructure
- Prototype and build new features for managing cloud browsers, including improvements to Reflect AI, a generative AI feature that converts test plans to automated test scripts
- Manage a dynamically-scaled infrastructure of containers for services and tasks
- Deliver working code on-time with clear documentation or other explanation
- Measure success and iterate on technical designs to improve outcomes for all stakeholders
We are looking for you if you have:
- 3+ years in software development in a production environment
- Advanced programming skills in one or more of: Scala, Java, C/C++, Go, TypeScript
- Strong understanding of HTTP, REST and the client/server architecture
- Demonstrated ability of completing software projects, individually and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability of taking ambiguous or ill-defined requirements and problem statements, and rapidly converting them into working code, with quality
- Strong communication skills and English on at least a B2 level
