How often do you find yourself reaching for your banking app? Whether it's checking your balance, making payments, or transferring money, banking has become an essential part of everyday life. With the rapid evolution of the private banking sector, including the emergence of new players and significant investments in digital platforms, there's still plenty of room for improvement and innovation. At Code Factory, we're dedicated to revolutionizing the digital banking experience. We're focused on developing comprehensive API solutions that streamline banking operations and enhance user convenience. 

In Team Void, we are responsible for the operation, maintenance and improvement of the services that enable document management, the sending of notifications and the processing of customer requests, among other things. By using specialised APIs, we ensure secure access to documents, facilitate the approval of terms and conditions and optimise the communication channels between our customers and DKB. 

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the conceptualization, development and automated testing of scalable APIs.
• Write high-quality, efficient and maintainable code.
• Pro-actively prepare technical suggestions/solutions and enable other colleagues.
• Provide constructive feedback during code reviews.
• Ensure software quality through testing and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to supplement our perpetual quest for betterment.
• Participate in ongoing maintenance and enhancement of software systems.

Following qualifications would be in line with our desired profile for this position:

• You have at least 3 years experience in development using Kotlin or Java. 
• You have experience with a diverse set of tools (e.g. Spring Boot, Hibernate ORM, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka). 
• You’re a go-getter: you are passionate about developing great products and self-learning. 
• You have a formal education in computer science? Cool. You don't? Also cool, tell us your story. 
• You’ve had experience working with agile workflows. 
• Bonus: You have a Startup and/or Finance background.  
• You're passionate about your work, but also know how to enjoy your free time!
