KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, design, debug, and develop software solutions for Java applications.
• Create Java-based software adhering to industry best practices.
• Write and implement efficient, reusable Java code.
• Test software to ensure it meets specifications and performs effectively.
• Provide technical assistance to software users.
• Diagnose and resolve software issues.
• Collaborate with software engineers to maintain high code quality.
• Work alongside product managers and designers to ensure user-centric software design.
• Identify areas for improvement in existing Java code.

 SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Java development.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Java and Java EE.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
• Familiarity with hardware and operating systems, especially Unix-based ones.
• Understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and application/web servers.
