B2B Sales Specialist - RISE for Business by BCG U

As a part of our growth journey, RISE by BCG U is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven B2B Sales Specialist to drive learner acquisition KPIs for BCG RISE for Business. You will be responsible for driving business growth by acquiring "learners" for our upskilling programs by generating and nurturing leads within the SME market, building strategic partnerships, and ultimately converting opportunities into successful sales.
In this role you will:
- Develop and implement a B2B sales strategy to secure "learners" by targeting SMEs for our upskilling programs.
- Identify SME needs and position RISE for Business programs as the ideal solution for their workforce development.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation, outreach, and qualification to negotiation and deal closure.
- Proactively identify cross/-sell/up-sell business opportunities from existing client portfolio, delivering monthly and annual targets.
- Establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to support broader business development goals.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align product offerings and sales strategies with market demand.
- Collect regular feedback on client needs, challenges and objectives, identifying gaps and opportunities to improve partnership.
- Represent the RISE for Business training program at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to raise awareness, identify potential partnership opportunities, and engage with RISE programme partners
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and the skilling landscape to adapt and refine the sales approach.
You will bring:
- 1-2 years' experience in B2B sales or as SDR/BDR, especially in fast-growing/scaling ventures or similar dynamic environments.
- Experience in sales of products/services to local SMEs, with a strong understanding of local SME’s unique needs and challenges
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, including lead generation, prospecting, relationship building, and deal closure.
- Experience in consultative and solution-based selling within the Tech/Digital domains is valuable.
- Proficiency with sales tracking tools and CRM systems e.g. Hubspot to monitor and report on sales performance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a determination to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to identify opportunities and overcome challenges.
- The ability to adapt to changes in the sales landscape and adjust strategies to respond to evolving market dynamics.
- Effective time management skills to balance competing priorities.
