Our Sales department is dedicated to expanding our reach and fostering meaningful connections with our customers. By developing sales strategies that resonate with our target audience, we ensure impactful and lasting relationships. 

We're on the lookout for a (b2b, SaaS) Business Development Executive to enhance our Sales team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in advancing our B2B sales efforts, establishing significant partnerships, and leading initiatives to boost revenue generation.

Requirements

Performance objectives:

1. The first performance objective is to present, promote, and sell Joomag products and services to prospective clients. This means:

  • Being highly fluent in English։ Besides just loving to speak English, you are also very good at writing in it. You will communicate and build sustainable relationships with English-speaking customers worldwide. The main channels of communication are calls, product demos, emails, and live chat.
  • Mastering communication: As a Senior Business Development Executive at Joomag, your ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders is paramount. Your articulate speech, adept tone modulation, and attentive listening skills will pave the way for successful negotiations and fruitful collaborations.
  • Excelling in negotiation: With your expertise in negotiation, you'll navigate complex deals and agreements with finesse. Your strategic approach, persuasive techniques, and ability to find mutually beneficial solutions will be instrumental in closing deals and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Showcasing stellar presentation skills: Your knack for delivering compelling presentations will be indispensable in showcasing Joomag's value proposition to potential clients. Whether pitching our services, demonstrating product features, or leading client meetings, your polished presentation style and engaging delivery will leave a lasting impression and drive business growth.
  • Being tech-savvy: You will use Intercom, Jira, Pipedrive, Joomag CRM, analytics, and other internal tools every day. To help you get comfortable with them, we will onboard you via several mentor shadow sessions aimed to show and teach you everything. Enthusiasm for learning new technologies is a must.

2. The second objective is to "Work Like a Team, Live Like a Family.”

Additionally, foster synergy by collaborating with various departments, particularly Marketing, Customer Success and Customer Care, to tackle challenges collectively and achieve shared goals effectively.
  • Share openly and willingly: Beyond discussions & meetings, everyone at Joomag feels comfortable talking to one another and sharing their opinions. It is essential that you remain willing to share your knowledge and unique experiences so that other team members can stay informed and engaged.

Before you apply, please consider the following prerequisites:

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B and SaaS sales roles
  2. Proven ability to close deals in enterprise companies within EU and US markets.
  3. Near-native proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Proficiency with CRM software.

What's expected | Hiring stages:

1. Phone screening: A brief call with Amalya Karapetyan from the HR team to discuss your background, understand your interest in the role, and answer your initial questions.

2. HR Interview and small assessment test: A more in-depth interview with our HR Lead Ani Meruzhan Margaryan to introduce the company, share insights about the role, and review your career goals & plans. The conversation will be followed with a short assessment - you will undergo a written test comprising two questions related to sales strategies. 

3. Professional interview: A detailed discussion with VP of Sales Jay Majumdar and Sales Enablement Manager Emma Ghrejyan to assess your qualifications, experience, and potential fit for the position.

4. Offer Extension: If selected, you will receive a formal job offer, detailing the role specifics and next steps for joining our team.
