Finexio is seeking a B2B Payments Sales Manager who is not just looking for a job but is passionate about making a significant impact. They should be driven by challenges, ready to dig into the details, and eager to drive a culture of accountability and success within the sales team. This role will be a key contributor to company growth plans and will work closely with members of the Leadership Team to define and execute on achieving quarterly and annual bookings targets. The ideal candidate will be a proven sales leader with a passion for closing six figure deals.  This is a hands-on role working on managing all aspects of new sales and partnerships while managing our sales team.

 

Responsibilities:

●        Build and lead a high performing inside and outside enterprise sales team that can achieve aggressive, but achievable sales targets.

●        Meet annual and quarterly bookings target of net new Accounts Payable Spend (AP Spend) by strictly adhering to a sales process to identify, prospect, sell, negotiate, sign, and launch new commercial agreements with Accounts Payable and Procurement software providers, upper middle market to enterprise size corporations, payment processors, systems integrators, workflow software, and financial institutions

●        Lead and manage a formal pricing and proposal approval process for all new deals.

●        Evaluate and prioritize partnership opportunities, performing quantitative and qualitative due diligence.

●        Own a weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales pipeline and forecast report on bookings and projected revenue from New Sales Opportunities. This includes developing and maintaining dashboards in Salesforce to measure performance against goals.

●        Collaborate with the marketing on lead generation and other marketing needs to build awareness and support sales strategies.

●        Set and at least meet targets for new pipeline development, owning metrics such as weekly contacts, new meetings, demos, and proposals delivered.   This is a metric management intensive role

●        Develop net new sales materials for use in internal and external presentations.

●        Upon joining, immediately assess personnel and drive training on the Finexio sales process to ensure a focus on generating and converting opportunities.

●        Implement a rigorous training program and process adherence system to drive performance and ensure all team members are aligned and accountable.

●        Set, monitor, and drive adherence to sales team standard operations of Salesforce including all aspects of contact, lead, and opportunity management.

●        Lead by example, performing individual contributor work while elevating the team's performance. You are expected to be highly involved in the details of the sales team’s activities.

Requirements

●        You must have expert level knowledge of commercial payments, corporate treasury, or accounts payable.

●        You must have at least 5 years experience in a sales management role. A history of leading teams that hunt and close medium to large deals in the enterprise space is essential.

●        You must have experience selling complex payment products to CFOs.

●        You have must have a background in developing new distribution partnerships.

●        You must have a track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies that have resulted in substantial revenue growth. Experience in identifying market opportunities, defining target segments, and positioning products effectively to win business.

●        You must demonstrate past experience in leading, restructuring, and motivating inside and outside sales teams. Proven experience in transforming sales teams to focus on proactive outbound prospecting and opportunity generation. A history of mentoring and developing sales talent to improve performance and career progression.

●        You must demonstrate that you are capable of driving a methodical approach to sales, with experience in building and implementing structured sales processes, performance metrics, and effective training programs. You will only be successful with a proven ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making and improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.

●        You must have high competency with CRM and sales prospecting tools, particularly Salesforce and Zoominfo.  You will leverage these tools to track team performance, manage the sales pipeline, and generate insightful reports that drive action and results.

 

 

 

 

 

Operational and Team Leadership Critical Areas:

●        You must have experience in establishing a culture on sales teams that expects a consistent focus on outbound prospecting, including tracking and measuring prospecting activities within large accounts.

●        You must have the ability to align closely with marketing to ensure a seamless lead-to-sales qualification process and to establish consolidated reporting that tracks the effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts.

●        You must have experience provide rigorous training and process adherence, driving a culture of performance and time-bound progression through the sales stages.

 

Required Technical Skills

●        You must be completely self sufficient in basic salesforce pipeline reporting.

Salary Range - $140,000 - $160,000 Base Salary + Equity and Incentive Plan
