Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. We’ve grown significantly in the last three years, expanding our operations from just four countries across the Nordics, to 26+ countries across Europe and Asia today. And we’re just getting started.

And now we are searching for a Marketing Automation Lead to join our B2B Marketing team where your primary goal will be to take our CRM and email marketing strategies to a whole new level.

As the B2B Marketing Automation Lead, you will own the global B2B Marketing Automation strategy for Wolt Merchants, Wolt for Work, and Wolt Drive prospects, users, and accounts. This role covers both the technical and data aspects, as well as identifying key engagement touchpoints. Your primary goal is to build a world-class system that supports B2B customer acquisition, onboarding, retention, engagement, and growth.

In this role, you will collaborate with various global teams, including Marketing, Account Management, Sales, Product, Analytics, and Engineering, to develop automated marketing capabilities across multiple channels (email, SMS, in-app, and more). You will also own the conceptualization, creation, execution, and optimization of innovative, best-in-class automated campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all automated campaigns globally across Wolt Merchants, Wolt for Work, and Wolt Drive, ensuring they are executed efficiently with best practices.

  • Mentor, grow, and lead the global B2B Marketing Automation team, while staying hands-on with key projects.

  • Map, structure, and oversee data migration projects in collaboration with internal and external teams to ensure marketing automation is scalable and globally aligned.

  • Work closely with Product, Legal, and Operations teams internationally to ensure the necessary data points are captured and any changes that affect marketing automation campaigns are addressed.

  • Continuously optimize and improve communications across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging.

  • Establish KPIs for all automation processes and develop monthly performance reports that align with company-wide objectives.

  • Coordinate campaign-related activities with local stakeholders, including planning, segmentation, localization, setup, and evaluation.

  • Develop and implement automated, multi-touch programs across the customer lifecycle to reduce manual effort and improve scalability.

  • Create A/B testing cycles to maximize campaign performance and engagement.

  • Own the identification, onboarding, and setup of new marketing automation platforms and tools.

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing automation or marketing operations leadership roles within B2B Tech, SaaS, eCommerce, or similar industries.

  • Proven experience building and leading a high-performing team.

  • Proven expertise in designing acquisition and engagement funnels, and creating effective communications for different stages of the customer lifecycle.

  • Strong technical knowledge of data platforms, marketing software, and CRM tools.

  • Experience delivering automated lifecycle campaigns at scale across multiple countries.

  • Proven ability to work across various business units and stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills, with confidence in working with data and engineering teams.

  • Experience delivering creative and impactful campaigns in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with creating communication plans across diverse marketing channels.

  • Eagerness to learn and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment.

  • Expertise in email best practices, including creatives, templates, metrics, KPIs, segmentation, dynamic content, and testing methodologies. Experience with SMS, WhatsApp, in-app notifications, and other channels is a major plus.

  • Experience with Iterable, Braze, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a must.

  • Experience in implementing a Marketing Automation platform from scratch is a major plus.

  • Previous experience in food delivery, on-demand delivery, logistics or markeplace is a strong plus.
