The global B2B marketing team ay Wolt is seeking an experienced and dynamic B2B Event Marketing Manager to lead and manage the planning, execution, and optimization of our B2B events globally. In this first-of-its-kind role, you will be responsible for creating impactful event experiences that engage prospects and customers, build brand awareness, and drive business growth across Wolt for Work, Merchants, Wolt Drive and more.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, PR and Comms, Account Management, Product, and Marketing, to deliver seamless, engaging, and results-driven events. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in managing B2B events from conception through execution, with a focus on strategy, logistics, and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and hand-on execute the global B2B event strategy, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and virtual events, aligned with business objectives.
Manage all aspects of event planning and logistics, on the ground or via partners, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, timelines, and event promotion.
Work closely with the Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to identify key events, opportunities, and messaging that will resonate with target audiences.
Own the end-to-end execution of event marketing campaigns, including pre-event promotions, event communications, and post-event follow-up.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of event deliverables, including branding, content, speaking engagements, and presentations.
Develop event-related marketing collateral, including invitations, landing pages, presentations, and booth materials.
Monitor and analyze event performance data, including attendance, engagement, and ROI, to optimize future events.
Research and identify new event opportunities to expand our reach and impact in the B2B space.
Collaborate with marketing automation and content teams to nurture leads generated from events and ensure effective follow-up strategies.
Manage event-specific budgets, ensuring all activities are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
Maintain a pulse on industry trends to ensure we are leveraging cutting-edge strategies and technologies for events.
5+ years of experience in B2B event marketing, with a proven ability to hands-on manage both in-person and virtual events.
Experience working across diverse event formats such as trade shows, conferences, webinars, roundtables, product launches, and exclusive customer/partner gatherings.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and campaigns simultaneously.
Proven experience in managing event logistics, budgets, vendor relationships, and timelines.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and how events fit into the broader marketing funnel.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze event performance and apply insights to future events.
Experience working with event management and marketing automation tools (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, HubSpot, Marketo, etc.).
A proactive, creative, and strategic thinker who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel and manage on-site event coordination as needed, mainly across European countries, with an emphasis on Nordics.
Multi-lingual competence - a strong plus.
