We are looking for passionate, multi-talented IT professionals with a strong technology background, as well as a great propensity for creative problem solving. Joining our local Scrum teams based in Athens, the successful candidate will work closely with domestic and international development teams in exciting and challenging projects!

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our IT Operations team. This role focuses on managing Azure Cloud infrastructure, supporting deployments, and ensuring system reliability. If you're a hands-on expert in Microsoft Azure with a passion for cloud technologies, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Azure Cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, security).
• Handle incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Monitor and ensure system performance and uptime.
• Support application deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development, project, and security teams.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and security strategies.
• Maintain IT infrastructure documentation.

Requirements

• Azure Expertise: Strong knowledge of Azure services (VMs, Kubernetes, databases, monitoring, networking).
• IT Operations: Experience in hybrid environments, incident management, and troubleshooting.
• DevOps & Automation: Proficient in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), IaC (ARM, Terraform), and scripting (PowerShell).
• Tools & Technologies: Experience with Apache Kafka, Azure Monitor, and Azure Cloud Shell.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, hands-on mentality, and fluent in English.

General Responsibilities

• Ensure operational efficiency, security compliance, and system optimization.
• Provide user support and training as needed.
• Manage updates, patches, and performance tuning.
