You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- Desirable Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer with Amazon Web Services.
- Proficiency with AWS services: EC2, S3, ECS/EKS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, CloudWatch.
- Proficiency with IaC tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Jenkins.
- Configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Monitoring tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, X-Ray, Prometheus, Grafana.
- Proficiency with cloud security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration competencies.
- Advanced english proficiency.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Write Terraform configurations to represent the AWS infrastructure state in code.
- Represent the actual infrastructure in network/topology/services diagrams in each environment (Development, QA, Production).
- Plan and conduct game days to test and enhance the code and diagrams.
- Propose the best practice approaches in terms of architecture design, security, naming conventions, governance, etc.
- Support CI/CD lifecycle.
- Take ownership of the AWS environment assigned.
