AWS Data Platform Engineer

As an AWS Data Platform Engineer you are a key member of the
data engineering teams in various AWS data oriented projects at customers.

You are no stranger to DevOps and MLOps and enjoy collaborating with data and AI-specialists building solutions with a sound architectural design.

• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD delivering data architecture and infrastructure.
• Programming in Python (or other high level programming language) comes naturally.
• Your have designed solutions on top of AWS Cloud, which has no secrets for you.
• A collaborative mindset where any solution is built through alignment with your stakeholders.
• Apply best practices for observability. You might even have a favourite observability stack.
• Have worked with or designed ETL architecture consisting of AWS Glue, EMR, Hadoop, Apache Spark or other.
• Have worked with and administered databases such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis MySQL
• MLOps workflow design in collaboration with Data Science engineers to deliver production grade model capabilities. Experience with Sagemaker and other DAG workflow orchestrators.
• Experience with designing both Batch as well as Stream data processing architectures.
• Have designed and implemented event driven architecture on AWS.
• No stranger to DevOps methodologies and tooling to facilitate autonomy.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French and English
