Our UniQue Team is growing and in our amazing team, we are looking for a AWS Data Engineer to join us. You will be working on a number of exciting projects in a challenging, dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Design, implement, and maintain the data architecture for all AWS data services
- Design and implement ETL processes to load data into the data warehouse
- Optimize data models for performance and efficiency
- Write SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines
- Generate reports and dashboards to visualize data
- Collaborate with software engineers to design and implement data-driven features
- Perform root cause analysis on data issues
- Keep up to date with new AWS data services and features
- Maintain documentation of the data architecture and ETL processes
- Train other team members on how to use the data architecture and ETL processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years professional experience working with data in a business setting
- Experience with AWS data services
- Proficient in SQL for data analysis and manipulation
- Experience with ETL (extract, transform, load) processes
- Strong understanding of modern approaches to data engineering and the best approach to solve our customers’ unique data problems
- Knowledge of SQL and Python, other languages are preferable (PySpark, Java, Scala)
- Experience in Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake)
- Strong experience building ETL / ELT pipelines, Data Lakes and Data Warehouses
- Experience with Apache Spark
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Good analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Open mindset, ability to quickly adapt new technologies
- Ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand.
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
- Professional cloud certifications
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- Capability of working in an international/ multicultural environment
