SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a AVP of Strategic Growth to lead Enterprise level efforts in high growth areas, reporting to the Senior Vice President of International Operations. The role will focus on the intersection between the International, US R&D and US-based manufacturing entities. The selected candidate will help lead a $50M portfolio of R&D projects across Autonomous Collaborative Platforms, Space-based systems and Electronic Warfare.
What You’ll Do
- Build and execute a cohesive, data-driven strategy to shape, capture, and close strategic growth opportunities in new or existing ACP markets that allow SRC to penetrate, expand, and deliver SRC’s airborne and space-based capabilities to the DoD and close allies
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with critical service and joint program office stakeholders to identify new business opportunities, proactively communicate and resolve program issues, and provide strategic direction
- Serve as a senior growth leader for programs critical to future SRC’s long term success, and lead large capture campaigns against Program Executive Offices (PEO) within the joint community and across defense senior leadership
- Collaborate closely with C-suite executives and Division growth and engineering leads to develop and execute coordinated approaches to new business opportunities across the SRC portfolio
- Foster a culture of trust, open communications, customer focus, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Develop and implement execution strategies that maximize synergies with other program and technical areas
- Support business unit, division, and business development in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) strategy
What You’ll Bring
- Intimate understanding of government contracting, fielding, and requirements generation for the purposes of transitioning prototype capabilities to production
- Demonstrated ability to focus on opportunities that span the spectrum of SRC’s R&D programs and products
- Leadership skills to build, adapt, and implement new and innovative approaches to both domestic and international markets
- Demonstrated experience as a high-energy leader who can drive performance and exhibits strong management skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
- MS degree in a relevant discipline with 20+ years of relevant progressive leadership experience in the defense industry; any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in Electronic Warfare (EW), Radar, Intelligence Mission Data (IMD), or Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA). Technical experience in Airborne Systems is preferred
- Prior international program experience
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to support meetings with Australia outside typical US business hours
- Strong skills in communications and coordination of efforts across multiple functions
- Active Secret Clearance and preferably be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance in the future
- Desire to travel - 25 percent travel is anticipated (domestic and international to Australia)

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $225,000 to $275,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
