To merchants, Paytm offers acquiring devices like Soundbox, EDC, QR and Payment Gateway where payment aggregation is done through PPI and also other banks’ financial instruments. To further enhance merchants’ business, Paytm offers merchants commerce services through advertising and Paytm Mini app store. Operating on this platform leverage, the company then offers credit services such as merchant loans, personal loans and BNPL, sourced by its financial partners.

About the role: Incumbent will be responsible for driving Ad sales revenue pertaining to the FMCG category by developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with Paytm's overall business objectives. You will lead a team of Ad sales professionals and work closely with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and finance to identify new revenue opportunities and grow our advertiser base.

Responsibilities: 
Develop and execute a sales strategy that drives revenue growth for Paytm's advertising businessBuild and manage a high-performing sales team that delivers against revenue targets and KPIs
Establish strong relationships with key advertisers and agencies, and leverage those relationships to grow the business
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new revenue opportunities and ensure alignment with company objectives
Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals to key stakeholders
Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform sales strategy and tactics
Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to senior management.

 Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
12+ years of experience in advertising sales specifically into CPG or FMCG segment, with a proven track record of delivering revenue growth
Experience in digital advertising
Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform sales strategy and tactics
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
