As a key member of the APAC Market Leadership Team, the China Market Director will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for our go-to-market efforts. This includes leading the market team to achieve and exceed revenue goals, enhancing Thoughtworks' profile in key industries, and fostering long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders.
As the Market Director, we expect you to:
Set the direction and strategy for the industry vertical go-to-market (i.e., client strategy) and ensure execution of the sales strategy.
Drive a high performing, proactive industry market team to achieve and exceed sales (TCV), revenue, and client gross margin goals.
Raise TW branding in focus industries and articulate the value-add of TW services in the context of our clients’ business and industry.
Provide leadership, guidance and direction to the team and coordinate between sales, solutions, SLs and domain teams to bring the best of TW to our clients.
Be a highly client facing (e.g., every day). Establish, grow and nurture long-term, value-based relationships with a growing number of senior client stakeholders.
Be responsible for complex negotiations and a point of contact for escalation within the industry portfolio.
Provide market feedback to Service Lines and Digital Engineering Center about offerings and services.

Experience with a deep understanding of relevant industries such as retail, financial services, healthcare, automotive, manufacturing, etc.
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of Thoughtworks' business and a deep appreciation for how it creates value for its clients and internal operations.
Possesses a profound understanding and alignment with Thoughtworks' culture, and is committed to upholding and safeguarding it.
Displays strategic thinking, personal charisma, decision-making capabilities, and the ability to drive impact. Possesses excellent management skills, coordination abilities, internal collaboration expertise, and an aptitude for external business development.
Requires the ability to use English as a working language.
