About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with a focus on end-to-end (e2e) and integration testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain e2e tests using tools such as PlaywrightCypress, and/or Cucumber.
  2. Conduct integration testing with tools such as Jest and PACT.
  3. Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  4. Assist QA testers in upskilling on automation to enhance team capabilities.
  5. Perform testing on Micro Frontends (MFEs) and Serverless architectures, specifically with AWS Lambda.

Requirements

What you'll bring

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in e2e and integration testing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
  • Ability to mentor and upskill QA testers on automation.
  • Experience in testing on MFEs and Serverless architectures, specifically AWS Lambda.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Bonus - Storybook end 2 end and visual testing using chromatic
