Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze current practices and examine data flow within the processing systems to identify inefficiencies and potential risks while assessing the effectiveness of technology usage
- Evaluate the design and implement internal controls for the processing systems
- Identify weaknesses in current controls in place through procedure reviews, current practices observation, and rigorous testing
- Document all findings, including control weaknesses, process inefficiencies, and potential non-compliance issues
- Propose recommendations for improvement following to the findings, such as system upgrades, process modifications, or new controls implementation
- Conduct random audits of the processing team members and the processed cue sheets to understand the discrepancies and deviations
- Develop and implement audit plans and tools to effectively assess process effectiveness
- Collaborate with process owners and stakeholders to implement process improvements
- Conduct follow-up audits to track the effectiveness of implemented changes
- Maintain a strong understanding of best practices and industry standards relevant to the audited processes
- Stay up-to-date on relevant company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, both verbally and in writing
- Prepare clear concise reports as per the requirements of the management
Requirements
- GCE A/Ls or GCE O/L with a certificate / diploma level qualification
- Good communication skills in English (Verbal & Written)
- Excellent knowledge in Google Docs & Sheets
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to take challenges and handle pressure with a positive mind
- Flexibility to work extended hours in different shifts
- Understanding of the process mapping and documentation tools would be beneficial
- Experience in auditing data processing workflows and systems would be an added advantage
- Candidate must be based in Sri Lanka
