Role and Team
- This position reports to the General Manager and leads the Lot Operations and Transportation teams at the auction. You will develop a high-performing team that will exceed expectations. You will maintain a strong understanding of operational and administrative processes for lot operations, transportation, vehicle check-in and vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities
- Lead the operations and transportation team to ensure maximum production, efficiency, accuracy and safety
- Act as the point person for all lot operations, vehicle check-in, vehicle inspections and transportation
- Support operational and administrative processes to move cars through the auction process with a strong understanding of processes, collaboration across the organization and communication internally
- Influence and lead others as a people, customer and business manager
- Engage with customers and employees in a transparent, reliable, and positive manner
- Demonstrate knowledge of products and services and maximize our technology
- Know, practice, and ensure that company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws are always followed
- Recruiting, retaining and developing talent
- Scheduling staff to ensure efficient sale day operations and on time pick up and delivery of customer vehicles.
- Maintain inventory and inventory control process for lot and operations team equipment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize processes
- Monitor productivity and work with other teams to ensure compliance with sale plan layouts, customer requirements and other directives. Advise and assist with corrective procedures, if needed
- Participate on sale day by ensuring vehicles are flowing efficiency and safely through the auction lanes and on the lot

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Auction and/or operations experience required
- Minimum 1 year of leadership/supervisory experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive information
- Proven ability to manage deliverables and metrics against aggressive targets and timelines
- Proficiency with computer systems and applications
- Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license that meets the requirements
