We are looking for an experienced, tech-savvy, customer-oriented Atlassian Migrations Architect who will help our clients with installations, configurations, upgrades, and migrations of Atlassian tools, including Jira Software, Jira Service Desk, Confluence, BitBucket, and key third-party add-ons. As a Migrations Engineer, you will bring specific delivery skills in your specific area of implementation needs. You will provide focused delivery support to implement high-quality solutions in an iterative manner. You will also work closely with the Solution Architect to align on solution planning and delivery. This role is remote and may need to work US-based work hours.

What you will do:
- Setting up new environments to host Atlassian applications, including Server and Data Center
- Assisting clients with new environment setup based on best practices and recommendations
- Installations and configurations of new Atlassian applications
- Upgrades of existing Atlassian applications to the latest versions
- Migrations of existing Atlassian applications from existing to new environments
- Consolidations of multiple Atlassian applications and environments
- Migrations from 3rd party tools into Atlassian applications
- Migrations to/from Atlassian Cloud
- Installations and configurations of external authentication systems, such as AD, LDAP, SAML, SSO, OKTA, OneLogin, etc
- Installations and configurations of third party add-ons for Atlassian tools to provide enhanced capabilities
- Provide support to client administrators and users to ensure the success of implemented solutions
- Troubleshoot various issues and problems and design creative technical solutions
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with configuration and administration of Atlassian Products
- Hands-on experience setting up, managing, upgrading, and migrating Atlassian tools in Server and Data Center environments
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure setup for both Server and Data Center environments
- Hands-on experience with Jira Service Management
- Working experience consolidating multiple Atlassian environments
- Working experience migrating Atlassian tools to/from Atlassian Cloud
- Deep experience with Linux and Windows-based operating systems
- Prior system administration experience and understanding of associated concepts like networking, access, storage, database, resource management
- Experience with scripting, such as Bash, Python, or Ruby
- Able to analyze and review current environments to determine potential areas of improvement
- Conceptual and practical knowledge of SDLC and Agile Frameworks
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal) including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work with diverse teams across different time zones. Able to work independently with minimal guidance in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deliverables at any given time through effective time management and planning
- Strong executive presence, facilitation skills, drive for results, attention to quality and detail, and willingness to work in a team environment
- Experience in consulting and solution-based professional services, a huge plus!
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience
