How you will contribute to SLM's vision

We are currently expanding our Operations Team in Athens and we are looking for an Operations Coordinator, who will step into the beating heart of our hub network, the one in Athens. In this role, you'll lead our Drivers, providing daily support and training. You'll manage tasks promptly, from handling driver portfolios to analyzing feedback and proposing improvements. Adaptability and self-motivation are crucial in this ever-evolving environment.
As an Operations Coordinator, you'll empower our Drivers to exceed customer expectations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

What you will be doing

  • Serve as a key liaison for our Drivers, offering unwavering support and guidance ( e.g. daily check in, driver's app training etc)
  • Use tools like Upkeep or Google Sheets to monitor and update our fleet’s availability and status
  • Assist in the warehouse traffic management plan and execution
  • Collaborate with Operations, Warehouse, HR and Dispatch/Support teams to receive and keep track of Drivers' assessment and overall performance
  • Observe, review and analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements could be made (e.g. daily loading procedure)

Requirements

Your Skills & Experience

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Experience in a fast-paced working environment
  • Familiarity with business software applications (e.g. Google Suite)
  • Previous experience in Logistics or Operations is considered a strong plus
