Role Overview
Reporting to the Tech Lead, we are seeking a strong Associate Software Test Engineer who will collaborate with development teams to build and execute comprehensive suites of automated test plans and test cases. The role involves maintaining and enhancing our existing automation framework, evaluating test cases for regression inclusion, automating new feature testing, and using various toolsets to support Quality Engineering (QE) and Development testing. The successful candidate will work closely with distributed Scrum teams, including business and engineering teams, to deliver quality software reliably and predictably using various tools and methods. You will take ownership of test design, automation, and execution for various project deliverables.

Requirements
Skills/Proficiencies required:
Minimum of 2 years of solid experience with software testing and automated test techniques with a strong focus on quality throughout the software development cycle.
Excellent understanding of test methodologies and techniques including automated and functional/manual testing.
Exposure to Performance/Load/Stress testing
Experience of tools including Azure DevOps, Postman, JMeter, Cypress, Owasp Zap etc.
Good knowledge of object-oriented programming, along with requisite coding and debugging skills (C#, JavaScript, TypeScript).
Understanding of software design principles, patterns, algorithms, data structures and multi-threading concepts would be advantageous, as would knowledge on TDD and/or BDD
Experience of Continuous Integration (CI) practices, preferably using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
Must have worked in an Agile environment and be able to illustrate the effectiveness of testing against deliveries
Strong Analytical skills with problem solving/solution-oriented mind-set.
Should be able to work and communicate effectively with team distributed at multiple locations
