Overview:
An Associate Software Engineer at Mindex is responsible for contributing and assisting in fulfilling the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing software applications, features, and functionality aligned to customer requirements. An Associate Software Engineer works alongside senior engineers on the team, in an agile environment to devise innovative solutions, elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
Essential Functions:
- Participates in determining customer requirements by asking related questions, using problem analysis and critical thinking skills, defines and develops clear problem statements that represent customers’ needs and requirements.
- Creates and develops software solutions. May require assistance from more senior team members.
- Writes and performs testing that aligns with a methodology agreed-upon by their team or business unit.
- Identifies and fixes bugs to address customer concerns. May require assistance from more senior team members.
- Documents each aspect of an application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance. May require assistance from more senior team members.
- Curiosity to learn and advance relevant technical knowledge.
Requirements

- Experience with C#
- Experience with React

Education & Experience:
- AS or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related area preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 0-2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and experience working with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud
platforms.
