Associate Software Engineer

OVERVIEW:

Responsible for system analysis, design, programming and post implementation support of software systems. 

CORE RESPONSBILITIES:

• Responsible for system analysis, design, programming and post implementation support of software systems.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. 
• Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures.
• Direct software programming and development of documentation.
• Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system.
• Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
• Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance.

Basic Qualifications

• BS degree in computer science, information system or other relevant technical degree.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows required; any other multitasking operating system a plus.
• High level language coding skills, C/C++/C# language.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well with cross functional teams

Some travel and / or working off hours may be required.
