Associate Product Manager (SEO)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Join LendingTree as an SEO Associate Product Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the online experience for customers arriving through organic search. This position is ideal for someone passionate about ensuring our products, including critical tools like calculators and CTAs, are designed to support our customers in making informed financial decisions. By collaborating with our extensive SEO team, you will oversee the development and optimization of our product offerings, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our audience and search engines alike.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the creation and continual advancement of SEO-focused consumer facing web experiences and supporting internal platform capabilities, ensuring their relevance and efficiency across multiple domains.
  • Lead collaborative efforts with the Editorial, SEO, Design, and Product teams to augment our content and introduce novel user experiences.
  • Support the full lifecycle of SEO projects though research, design, development, launch.
  • Define, analyze, and document product requirements, effectively translating Epics into detailed User Stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Contribute in the Product Owner function of Scrum in Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Refinement
  • Track and analyze SEO metrics to gauge the performance of new features.
  • Contribute to building and communicating the product strategy and roadmap, incorporating market trends, competitive insights, business objectives, and technological capabilities.
  • Help drive product discovery, development, and testing efforts based on analytics insights and competitor benchmarks, with a focus on user desirability, technical feasibility, and business viability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a product role contributing to or leading the development of consumer-facing web and/or mobile platforms.
  • Strong communicator who is comfortable working in high visibility role, regularly interacting with and managing expectations of many stakeholders. Able to translate complex information for a non-technical audience.
  • A strong focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience, with a good eye for design
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into action, champion innovations, and lead projects to successful outcomes within a large organizational structure.
  • Intellectually curious and not just willing, but excited, to dive deeply into a new area of knowledge and quickly develop an expertise.
  • Organized and self-motivated, with the initiative to identify tasks and take action with minimal supervision.
  • Previous involvement with SEO initiatives or close collaboration with SEO teams is highly desirable.
  • A commitment to becoming an authority on SEO practices, key search terms, competitive landscapes, and strategies for improving site visibility and user engagement.
  • Analytical thinker with experience in web analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Qualtrics) and site optimization tools (e.g., Adobe Target, Optimizely).
  • Knowledge of the Scrum framework and Agile principles (direct experience preferred)
  • Basic understanding of APIs, HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
