Associate Product Manager - Payments

Product Managers at Moneybox work at the core of multi-disciplinary teams that work to support our customer’s savings missions, helping to improve the products and bring value to our customers' lives. We are looking for someone who is able to work well in a broad cross-functional team; has a real interest in building a new way of delivering financial services and has very good attention to detail.

We are looking for someone who is determined to succeed: has high energy with humility and a strong personal drive as we want someone to really take ownership in this role and roll up their sleeves and get the job done by delivering effectively against tight deadlines. 

What you'll do

  • Develop an understanding of our users at a deep level, building a strategy to help them turn their money into something greater, through our Payments & Operations team.
  • Specify product requirements and write clear user stories and feature specifications that are ready to be implemented by the development team.
  • Contribute to the development of the product strategy, shaping our product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with user experience, mobile and backend teams in the development of our product features to drive adoption and develop strategies to maximise product engagement.
  • Manage and prioritise the product backlog, clearly articulating and agreeing on the user stories and acceptance criteria to ultimately help deliver the overall product vision.
  • Track and monitor how we’re doing with core metrics for your area, as well as iterate and improve on your work to hit our goals and create value for our customers.

Experience and skills

  • 3+ years’ experience, ideally including a Product Management role. Expertise in Payments and/or Operations preferrable, but not mandatory. This is not an entry-level role. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, super attention to detail and diligence, and an ability to think through projects carefully, with care. 
  • Able to build and maintain great relationships with stakeholders, and able to encourage, motivate and develop a diverse team, towards a challenging goal. Has a resilience outlook and is responsible for their product end to end. 
  • Outstanding delivery without execution errors and thinking through all possible scenarios. 
  • Ability to measure and track the right metrics, forming opinions and hypotheses.
  • Great communication and listening skills and is able to give and take feedback openly.
