GENERAL DESCRIPTION: As a Material Risk Personnel of the Bank (as defined under the Individual Accountability and Conduct policy), you have the authority to make decisions or conduct activities that can significantly impact the Bank's safety and soundness, or cause harm to a significant segment of the Bank's customers or other stakeholders. As a Material Risk Personnel, you are also to comply with the standards of conduct expected and satisfy the fitness and propriety on an on-going basis This role is for an IT Business Engineer.
KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION:
- The role will primarily focus on collecting business requirements in order to understand system impact and document functional specification or user stories, data mapping and migration, reporting impact analysis.
- Propose innovative solution which is scalable and avoiding any addition of risk (operational risk or delivery risk).
- Lead the system enhancement, defects analysis for projects.
- Prepare documentations on User Requirements Specification, Functional Specification and User Guide.
- Coordinate with users, internal teams and vendors on project management, SIT, User Training, UAT and production releases.
- Expertise in Private Banking domain.
- Working experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum / Kanban.
- Stakeholder management and requirement management to ensure no ambiguity on requirements and impact analysis.
- Diligently document change log and escalate to project leads.
- Work with the Dev and Testing teams for requirement clarification, functional solution, and data mapping.
Professional and Technical:
- Minimum 10 12 years of IT BE experience, focused on Private Banking and Credit Domains.
- Preferred with most of the experience in handling Mortgage & Lombard Loans, Guarantees, Structure Finance and Credit risk.
- Have a good understanding of credit facilities offered in the Private Banking space, Transact modules AA, MD, SC, DX.
- Experienced in driving PLWs and able to advise new processes for new applications, preferably with Implementation experience in AA Loans and Guarantees module.
- Working experience of SDLC and Agile methodologies like SCRUM and KANBAN. Personal and Social.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to challenge business/technical requirements to build good and scalable solutions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
- Self-driven, highly motivated, hardworking and agile enough to work both independently and as a team player.
- Should have high standards for services delivered to business and should have an eye for details.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple, concurrent priorities with business and IT stakeholders
