Control Risks is looking to hire an Associate Operations Manager to support and drive the Embedded Consulting Services business with a focus area on excellence in operations and project management. The individual will ensure the delivery of commercial, administrative and world class operational support and competence. Based in our New Delhi office, this is a regional role with a focus on South Asia.
Responsibilities will involve:
Operational Management:
- Lead in the day-to-day management of embedded consultants and client requirements across South Asia, including project administration and business operations
- Support the delivery of embedded consulting services across Asia Pacific
- Maintain and expand client relationships through collaboration to identify needs and opportunities to ensure delivery of high-quality work
- Identify and advise on opportunities to improve operations management processes and implementation
- Support and drive the development of resource management tools, including enhancing consultant information storage and accessibility
- Assist in the implementation of a recruitment strategy for the region
- Work closely with HR colleagues to support effective consultant onboarding
- Ensure that embedded consultants are effectively supported by Control Risks
- Support resource management including maintenance of a live database, and the selection, recruitment, training, contracting and deployment of consultants for client projects
- Operational management of consultants in accordance with client requirements, Control Risks policies and appropriate international standards
- Support the commercial management of embedded consultancy engagements, including scoping and writing high quality proposals
- Work with the Business Operations team to ensure project administration is of the highest standard
- Proactively build and maintain solid relationships with decision makers and/or senior managers across the business, seeking out opportunities for collaboration
Requirements
- Commercial experience in a risk consultancy business or similar field
- Keen interest in regional affairs
- Developed commercial skills
- Experience in successfully managing client / consultant relationships
- Highly developed communication skills – written and verbal
Qualifications and specialist skills:
Essential
- Project / commercial management skills
- Education to degree level / or relevant commercial experience
- Developed IT skills (Microsoft Office)
Preferred
- Security / Risk consulting qualification
- South Asian language skills
- HR / people focussed qualifications or experience beneficial
