The MusicianShip is growing, and we are looking for an Associate Manager - Education & Community Programs to help us inspire, educate and empower youth and adult emerging artists throughout the DMV. A dynamic and experienced music professional who has a strong understanding of youth development and education best practices will be an integral part of moving our mission forward.
Our Associate Manager - Education & Community Programs will focus on developing, implementing and evaluating youth and adult programs that include music education and performance, socio-emotional learning, and workforce skill building necessary to be successful in the entertainment industry. This team member will report to the Education and Community Programs Manager and work directly with schools, community centers, nonprofit and corporate partners, emerging artists, and youth to create exciting and innovative arts programs and curriculum.

The MusicianShip is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that changes lives by facilitating music lessons, experiences, and opportunities for youth who need us most. Since 2010, we have provided free music programs to students for whom such opportunities are otherwise out of reach. In addition to our after-school and summer programs, which serve youth ages 6 to 24, we are also the hosts of the annual Wammie Music Awards, providing emerging artists and music enthusiasts the opportunity to celebrate the rich arts history of Washington, DC and the people making their mark today.
