Security and Science make the basis of Verona where before matchmaking there will be Fintech-grade authentication to ensure fraud detection. Through a deep appreciation for the science of compatibility, with Verona, we will be using AI for matchmaking based on an individual's core & shared values.

Role Overview:
As an Associate/Senior Associate in Business Development and Partnerships, your primary responsibility will be to convert qualified leads into Verona members. You will also focus on selling events to both existing community members and potential new customers, ensuring the growth of our vibrant community. You will be a crucial player in driving customer acquisition and building strong partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Conversion: Engage with prospective customers to understand their needs and guide them through the process of becoming a Verona member.
Membership Sales: Sell Verona’s exclusive membership packages to individuals, emphasizing the benefits and unique experiences the platform offers.
Event Sales: Promote and sell tickets for events organized by Verona, targeting both current community members and new leads.
Partnerships: Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, organizations, and influencers that can help expand Verona’s community and reach.
Customer Acquisition: Implement strategies to attract new customers, leveraging both digital and offline channels.
Follow-up & Retention: Stay in touch with leads, fostering ongoing engagement and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new members.
Market Research: Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt and improve sales strategies.
Reporting: Track and report on KPIs related to lead conversion, membership sales, and event revenue.
Key Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a persuasive and customer-oriented approach.
Ability to think strategically and execute on sales and partnership initiatives.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with targets and deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and network with a variety of individuals and organizations.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
0-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
Experience in a community-driven or event-based business is a bonus.
