We have an exciting opportunity for an associate to work closely with our Senior Managing Director & Co-Founder.
Key responsibilities include:
-Research emerging AI trends and evaluate their potential applications in banking.
-Collaborate with startups and external partners to explore and integrate innovative AI solutions.
-Work closely with senior management to align AI initiatives with the bank’s strategic goals.
-Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI solutions across various banking functions.
-Identify opportunities for process optimization, risk management, and enhanced customer experience using AI technologies.
Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of AI technologies, including LLMs, machine learning, natural language processing, and automation.
- Ability to translate AI research into real-world banking solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with startups and senior management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

OakNorth Bank was built on the foundations of frustrations with old-school banking. In 2005, when our founders tried to get capital for their data analytics company, the computer said ‘no’. Unfortunately, all major banks in the UK were using the same computer – and it was broken.
