The Role:

LifeEdit Therapeutics is seeking a Materials Management Associate to join our growing Supply Chain team. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and have a strong desire to learn. Key responsibilities will be goods receipt and issue, inventory management, shipping/receiving, maintaining stock levels, and warehouse organization. Life Edit is a growing organization, so this position will evolve along with the company and its needs.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Multiple stock room management, including general consumables across the company
  • Use SAP system to perform logistics functions, including ordering, goods receipt, and adjusting stock room inventory targets
  • Provide loading dock coverage receiving deliveries
  • Maintaining organized stockrooms and supply areas
  • Assist in regular domestic and international shipping activities
  • Work with internal stakeholders to improve the efficiency and accuracy of any processes implemented within the supply chain and lab operations departments
  • Work with the procurement group to perform changes and improvements to the procurement system
  • Maintain high level of communication with internal and external customers
  • Regularly review and update logistics and procurement status documentation
  • Assist other operations departments, such as EHS, Lab Ops, and Facilities, as needed

Requirements:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to perform duties with minimal supervision, and adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • SAP experience desired
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds unassisted
  • Familiarity with life sciences and laboratory operations
  • Prior experience with international and domestic shipping desired
  • Two (2) years in a logistics environment
