The Role:

LifeEdit Therapeutics is seeking a Materials Management Associate to join our growing Supply Chain team. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and have a strong desire to learn. Key responsibilities will be goods receipt and issue, inventory management, shipping/receiving, maintaining stock levels, and warehouse organization. Life Edit is a growing organization, so this position will evolve along with the company and its needs.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

Multiple stock room management, including general consumables across the company
Use SAP system to perform logistics functions, including ordering, goods receipt, and adjusting stock room inventory targets
Provide loading dock coverage receiving deliveries
Maintaining organized stockrooms and supply areas
Assist in regular domestic and international shipping activities
Work with internal stakeholders to improve the efficiency and accuracy of any processes implemented within the supply chain and lab operations departments
Work with the procurement group to perform changes and improvements to the procurement system
Maintain high level of communication with internal and external customers
Regularly review and update logistics and procurement status documentation
Assist other operations departments, such as EHS, Lab Ops, and Facilities, as needed

Requirements:

Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong attention to detail, ability to perform duties with minimal supervision, and adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
SAP experience desired
Must be able to lift 30 pounds unassisted
Familiarity with life sciences and laboratory operations
Prior experience with international and domestic shipping desired
Two (2) years in a logistics environment
