Job Description
Cricut® is seeking an experienced and versatile Associate Hardware Product Test Engineer who works in lab environment preferred, to join our Hardware Quality Engineering team. You will be responsible to perform consumer products reliability & validation testing during mass production, new product development as well as engineering verification testing.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform reliability and validation testing for consumer products based on the established test plan during product development stages
• Developing new methods of testing in line with the product requirements and engineering specifications
• Maintaining inventories and ordering test supplies and maintaining lab test equipment to ensure calibration and preventive maintenance are performed in a fixed interval
• Stay up to date on regulatory and industry standards and new developments in the field
• Developing test plans for reliability test that including thermal, humidity, vibration, shock, drop/tumble, HALT/HASS, accelerated aging, etc. which will aid in new product qualification
• Communicate and present product defect, failure, risk, and opportunity data during testing to cross functional teams
• Analyze and provide a precise test report and status update for product’s readiness review at EVT, DVT, MPQ and MP gates

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Material Science or Electrical Engineering
• 2-5 years of hands-on technical work experience in related field is desirable.
• Fresh graduates are encourage to apply.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills with spoken and written English
• Self-starter, capable of working independently while making sound technical/business judgments and building strong cross functional relationships
• Experience with engineering drawings
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Essential Skills:
• Good understanding of validation and product reliability testing in lab /product testing environment.
• Knowledgeable in test method development, create user profile for the reliability test and execute the test per the test plan
• Experience with any of the following: mechanical parts, gears, castings, plastic parts, injection molding, tooling, jigs, fixtures, or automotive high-volume quality manufacturing engineering is preferred
• Working knowledge of UL/ASTM/ISO testing and standards preferred .
