Associate, FP&A

About the role

We’re seeking a Finance Associate to support the FP&A function at Chime! In this role, you will develop and shape our business and financial strategy, execute high-impact cross-functional initiatives, and facilitate planning and budgeting processes. You will also collaborate with leaders to enhance key metrics reporting, improve forecast accuracy, and develop models for initiative sizing and ad hoc requests. We are looking for an analytical problem-solver who can break down complex problems into actionable components without losing sight of the overall strategy.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $103,680 and up to $144,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

• Develop, deliver, and maintain insightful reporting for G&A leadership to ensure departments are operating efficiently and within budget.
• Optimize and improve on financial forecasting accuracy through advanced modeling and business partnership.
• Collaborate with leadership on headcount planning, reporting and ad hoc analysis across G&A departments.
• Implement new systems and processes to help the finance function scale as the organization grows.
• Provide data-driven insights to facilitate decision making and influence strategy with financial model building, reporting, process flow, and dashboard development
• Facilitate deal negotiations with vendors and partners, including financial analysis

To thrive in this role, you have

• Minimum 2+ years of finance/FP&A, investment banking,or consulting experience
• A Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or relevant field
• The ability to contribute as a team player that embraces change and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills required
• Bonus Experience: Pigment, Netsuite, Looker, Coupa, Snowflake
