About the Project:

Our client, The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC), has established Open X, a new team within WPP, to manage integrated marketing initiatives across their iconic brands like Sprite, Fanta, Powerade, and of course, Coca-Cola (Trademark).

We're seeking a highly experienced Associate Director, Project Management, to lead global integrated projects specifically for the Trademark brand. This is the largest and most well-known brand in TCCC's portfolio, so exceptional results are paramount.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage all aspects of assigned integrated global projects, from initial client briefing to final output delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the WPP integration team to ensure seamless execution across disciplines.
  • Lead a team of talented individuals within Ogilvy and tap into our global network's multi-disciplinary resources.
  • Drive on-time and exceptional delivery across all workstreams, ensuring the highest quality creative meets all deadlines.
  • Act as the "glue" between teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

 

Project Management Expertise:

  • Proven experience managing complex, integrated projects across global accounts.
  • Skilled in scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring on-time delivery within budget.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Builds strong relationships with a diverse team (consultants, project managers, producers, account management, creatives) to act as a central hub and information source.

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Analyzes potential risks from project inception and develops mitigation strategies.
  • Creates and maintains detailed project timelines from briefing to final delivery, collaborating with specialists for input.
  • Manages multiple workstreams, prioritizing creative output while ensuring all agency services (brand identity, communications, experience, PR) align with agreed scope, budget, and deadlines.

Communication & Reporting:

  • Adept at using digital workflows and communication tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Workfront) for seamless collaboration.
  • Confidently collaborates with multi-agency teams and communicates effectively when schedules shift, notifying all relevant departments promptly.
  • Maintains a strong understanding of Ogilvy and client project tools and platforms.

Financial Management:

  • Manages purchase orders, working with the Ogilvy Resource Team to book resources and ensure clear communication of resource requirements.
  • Tracks project financials, proactively identifies and communicates potential issues during fortnightly financial status meetings.

Project Management Operations:

  • Takes concise notes in meetings, assigns tasks effectively, and monitors completion.
  • Leads daily stand-up meetings, prepares status reports, and diligently updates project timelines.
  • Ensures all external documents are centrally filed for easy access.
  • Collaborates with the TCCC PM to closely monitor delivery progress.
  • Organizes and manages internal meetings, adhering to agendas for efficient discussions and ensuring leadership visibility.
  • Partners with producers and the integration team to manage asset upload.
  • Works with Studio X for seamless master handoff and monitors asset dispatch to all organizational units.
  • Manages key project checkpoints, ensuring timely completion of legal and OU approvals.

Who You Are:

  • A seasoned Project Manager with a proven track record of managing complex, integrated marketing projects for global brands with 360 deliverables.
  • Deep understanding of the marketing landscape and experience working with major CPG corporations is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, manage deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional client service and exceeding expectations.

 

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Pay Range
$75,000$180,000 USD
