POSITION SUMMARY:
The Associate Director of Crisis Services oversees primary points of access and the highest levels of care within WellPower's Recovery Services. Serves as a member of the Medical Services Leadership Team, and contributes to visioning, goal setting, leadership, and management of crisis programs. Work to enhance community relationships, maximize programmatic efficiencies, promote staff development, and ensure outstanding quality in the care provided to the individuals and families we serve.
PAY RANGE & BENEFITS: $105,000 - $115,000 per year

RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES:
- Provide leadership supervision to the Walk in Crisis Center and all staff within this facility.
- Represent WellPower as the primary clinical liaison to Signal and Colorado Crisis Services
- Partner with the City and County of Denver and other contractors in the operations of WellPower Behavioral Health Solutions Center, and assist in the development of the second floor of the Behavioral Health Solutions Center with community needs in mind;
- Provide leadership supervision to WellPower’ s Behavioral Health Solution Center and all staff within the facility
- Represent WellPower and the Solutions Center at the Sun Valley Registered Neighborhood Organization meetings and at the good neighbor Solutions Center Advisory Committee meetings
- Provide leadership supervision to the Hospital Liaison team and all staff within this team
- Implement the goals and directives of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in oversight of crisis services within WellPower.
- Manage clinical services in a fee for service model and capacity driven environment and deliver performance feedback
- Actively promote a safe environment through staff engagement and training; engage and direct clinical staff to provide high quality clinical care
- Promote and facilitate the alignment, cohesion, and communication within the crisis services and between the larger department, organization, and community
- Build positive and effective employee engagement; Support the ongoing growth and development of supervisors and staff through training and skill development; Oversee all hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions taken by supervisees.
- Collaborate with fellow WellPower departments, community partners, and referral sources through prompt and regular communication to build positive working relationships and promote efficiencies.
- Maintained trauma informed environment
- Have a robust understanding of DEIB and how it relates to staff and care for the people we serve
- Attend to infrastructure that supports the business operations of primary teams and larger crisis services (i.e. electronic health record functionality, business intelligence reporting, billing workflows, contract monitoring)
- Other duties as assigned by the CMO
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other similar human services/health care field.

LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist licensure required.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in community mental healthcare or similar integrated healthcare setting.
- A minimum of four (4) years supervisory and/or management responsibilities.

- Self-motivated and directed, demonstrate strong relationship-building skills, have experience with infrastructure development and hold a high value for diversity.

WORKING CONDITIONS: May require occasional evening or weekend hours. This hybrid position is based in Denver, Colorado and requires regular on-site time.
