Position Purpose:
The Associate Director partners with the MiddCORE Director to develop, execute, and advance the vision of the MiddCORE Leadership and Innovation programs. The Associate Director is an expert in the inspiration landscape, identifying and leveraging innovative trends, industry leaders, and corporations to inspire students and unlock personal transformation. This role oversees program delivery, including marketing, admissions, and partnerships, ensuring alignment with program goals and efficient day-to-day operations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the MiddCORE Director to lead the development and delivery of curriculum for MiddCORE courses, workshops, and MiddCORE Summer Intern Lab.
- Cultivates relationships with alumni, industry leaders, and corporations to co-design experiential learning opportunities that inspire students and foster their personal and professional growth.
- Supports the Director to manage corporate partnerships to create innovation challenges for students and writes case studies that articulate objectives, processes, and outcomes, in collaboration with industry partners.
- Guides and oversees the work of the Assistant Director, helping to shape the strategic vision for communications, marketing, and student recruitment efforts, and ensuring they align with the overall vision of MiddCORE.
- Responsible for the efficient management of logistics and resources, providing guidance and oversight to both the Assistant Director and program interns to ensure the successful execution of operational tasks and seamless program delivery.
- Leads the assessment process by collecting and analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance the effectiveness of MiddCORE programs.
- Manages budgeting and day-to-day operations for all MiddCORE programs, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to program goals.

Requirements
Position Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree or three or more years of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
- Experience in leadership, innovation, and/or education, with a proven track record of success in developing and delivering successful programs.
- Ability to work successfully with students, parents, MiddCORE mentors, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and constituencies external to the College.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
Criminal background check. Occasional weekend and evening work. Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds.
